Christmas 24 DVD Bundle Competition Terms and Conditions

If you are aged 18 or over, you may elect to enter the ‘Christmas 24 DVD Bundle’ (“Competition”) on the website http://tvmovies24.com (“Website”), you acknowledge and agree that you accept the following terms and conditions relating to the Competition.

1. PROMOTER: The promoter of the Competition is NBC Universal Global Networks UK Limited of 1 Central St Giles, St Giles High Street, London, WC2H 8NU (“Promoter” and for the purposes of these terms and conditions "Promoter" shall be deemed to include the Promoter's affiliates, successors, assignees and licensees).

2. ELIGIBILITY: (a) AGE Entrants must be aged 18 or over. (b) RESIDENCEEntrants must be legally resident in the United Kingdom or the Republic of Ireland. (c) EMPLOYEESEmployees or agents of the Promoter and their immediate families are not eligible to enter. (d) REGISTRATION Entries can only be made via the Website and entrants must register or be registered on the Website. Entrants will therefore need to have access to the internet and a valid email account to enter.

3. DATES:The Competition starts on 18 November 2014 and closes at 23:59 (GMT) on 2 December 2014 (“Close”).

4. ENTRY: Entrants must register on the Website, answer a multiple choice question on the Website and follow the Competition instructions set out on the Website to enter. Entrants may only enter once and only via one email account. Entries on behalf of another person will not be accepted and joint entries are not allowed. The eligibility of any entry is at the sole discretion of the Promoter. Entrants are responsible for the cost (if any) of entering the Competition. The Promoter is not responsible for any technical problems of any nature whatsoever which may lead to an entry not being received or to a delay in receipt. The Promoter accepts no liability for any invalid and/or incomplete entries and/or entries not received by the Promoterand does not guarantee continuous, uninterrupted or secure access to the Website and/or the Competition page on the Website and accepts no responsibility for any technical problems, including without limitation any technical problems which may result in any entry being lost, not properly registered or received. The Promoter may amend, suspend, withdraw, cancel or re-set the Competition for any reason at its sole discretion and at any time. Proof of delivery of the entry is not proof of receipt. Only entries which have been submitted strictly in accordance with the Competition instructions and these terms and conditions will be valid.

5. SELECTION OF WINNER: After Close, the Promoter will randomly select one entrant who has correctly answered the multiple choice question to win a prize. If any entrant enters more than once or if the Promoter suspects that any entrant has entered more than once it may decide in its sole discretion to not award that entrant a prize and disqualify that entrant. The Promoter’s selection of the winner will be final.

The prize is non-transferable. No cash alternative is available for the prize. In the unlikely event that a prize should become unavailable, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal value. The winner is responsible for any and all costs and expenses not specified in the prize description.

7. PRIZE CONFIRMATION AND ACCEPTANCE: (a) CONFIRMATION The winner will receive a message via email (using the email address provided by the entrant at the time of registering on the Website) on or before 9 December 2014 confirming that he/she has won a prize. (b) ACCEPTANCE The prize winner must claim his/her prize and confirm his/her personal information for delivery of the prize by no later than 23 December 2014. The Promoter may require proof of identity and/or eligibility before releasing the prize. If: (i) no claim is received by the Promoter; (ii) the Promoter does not receive all evidence requested to the Promoter’s satisfaction; or (iii) the Promoter is unable to contact a winner during the timelines set out in these terms and conditions, the Promoter reserves the right to deem the prize forfeited and the Promoter may, in its absolute discretion, select another winner. The prize winner should allow up to 3 weeks from prize acceptance for delivery of the prize.

8. WINNER’S DATA:The Promoter reserves the right to publish in all media, including but not limited to Facebook and Twitter, the first name, surname and area of residence of the winner. The Promoter is also entitled to disclose to third parties upon request the first name, surname and area of residence of the winner and such requests should be made by sending a stamped self-addressed envelope to: Universal Channel UK Marketing Team, NBC Universal Global Networks UK Limited, 1 Central St Giles, St Giles High Street, London WC2H 8NU, stating for which competition you would like winners’ details.

PERSONAL DATA: All personal information collected about entrants to the Competition by way of their entering the Competition will only be used in accordance with the Promoter's current privacy policy contained at http://www.nbcuni.com/privacy/ and for the following purposes: to administer the Competition as set out in these terms and conditions, to select the winner and to arrange delivery of the prizes.             

10. PROMOTER’S LIABILITY:As far as is permitted by law, the Promoter excludes responsibility and all liabilities arising from any postponement, cancellation, delay or changes to the Competition and/or prizes beyond the Promoter’s control and for any act or default of any third party supplier. The receipt by the winner of any prize is conditional upon the winner complying with any and all applicable laws, rules, regulations and guidelines including, without limitation, these terms and conditions and Competition instructions. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any damage, loss, liabilities or disappointment incurred or suffered in connection with the Competition or the prizes. Nothing in these terms and conditions shall exclude the liability of Promoter for death, personal injury, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation as a result of its negligence.

11. SEVERABILITY: If any part of these terms and conditions is be determined to be illegal, void or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, then such part shall be severed and deleted, to the extent of such illegality, invalidity or unenforceability, and the remaining parts of these terms and conditions shall remain in full force and shall continue to be binding and enforceable to the maximum extent permitted by law.

12. CANCELLATION AND AMENDMENT: The Promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the Competition or these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice including, but not limited to, in the case of anticipated, suspected or actual fraud.

13. FORCE MAJEURE: Promoter shall not be liable for any failure to comply with its obligations where the failure is caused by something outside its reasonable control. Such circumstances shall include, but not be limited to, weather conditions, fire, flood, hurricane, strike, industrial dispute, war, hostilities, political unrest, riots, civil commotion, supervening legislation or any other circumstances amounting to force majeure (“Force Majeure”).

14. JURISDICTION: These terms and conditions are exclusively governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales whose courts will have exclusive jurisdiction in any dispute save that Promoter has the right at Promoter’s sole discretion to commence and pursue proceedings in alternative jurisdictions.

Christmas 24 Stocking Competition Terms and Conditions

After Competition Week Three, the Promoter will randomly select twenty entrants who have correctly answered the multiple choice question during Competition Week One, Competition Week Two and Competition Week Three to each win a prize. If any entrant enters more than once or if the Promoter suspects that any entrant has entered more than once it may decide in its sole discretion to not award that entrant a prize and disqualify that entrant. Entrants may only win one prize. The Promoter’s selection of the winners will be final.

6. PRIZE: There are sixty prizes, each consisting of: one Christmas stocking and one copy of ‘Mrs Brown’s Boys D’Movie’ (“Movie”) on either DVD or Blu-Ray (“Stocking”). Each winner will receive a Stocking and one Stocking will be selected at random to also include a £200 (two hundred pounds sterling) Visa Gift Voucher (Shop Direct Home Shopping Limited’s terms and conditions apply). The prize is non-transferable. No cash alternative is available for the prize. In the unlikely event that a prize should become unavailable, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal value. The winner is responsible for any and all costs and expenses not specified in the prize description.

(b) ACCEPTANCE The prize winners must each claim their prize, select either a DVD or Blue Ray copy of the Movie and confirm their personal information for delivery of the prize by no later than two weeks from receipt of Promoter’s Confirmation email. The Promoter may require proof of identity and/or eligibility before releasing the prize. If: (i) no claim is received by the Promoter; (ii) the Promoter does not receive all evidence requested to the Promoter’s satisfaction; or (iii) the Promoter is unable to contact a winner during the timelines set out in these terms and conditions, the Promoter reserves the right to deem the prize forfeited and the Promoter may, in its absolute discretion, select another winner. The prize winner should allow up to 3 weeks from prize acceptance for delivery of the prize.
